DESCRIPTION

This property is located at “La Frassette”, at an altitude of around 1,300 meters, between Les Diablerets and Les Mosses (Les Voëttes) in the commune of Ormont-Dessus.

The terrain alternates between pasture, forest, garden and path. It offers a varied natural environment and lends itself particularly well to grazing. To the south of the chalet is a disused barn.

The building is a traditional log cabin set on a stone base. The roof, in corrugated sheet metal, and framework were reinforced at the same time as the original dwelling was transformed from a simple dwelling to a comfortable home.

The rural part, including the barn and stable, has also been completely renovated into a living room, bedroom and bathroom. Internal and peripheral insulation has been installed.

The chalet benefits from running water in the kitchen and bathroom thanks to an oral water right granted by the pasture owner.

There is no electricity connection, but the property has solar panels installed on the front of the chalet.
